Eschmann TD830The TD830 electrosurgery unit is used during surgery to cut and seal and incorporates multiple generators, which allows two surgeons to work at the same time. The unit also incorporates advanced safety monitors which work together to minimise the risk to the patient, surgeon and theatre staff.
JED carried out the complete design of the unit�s enclosure, which is moulded in thermoplastic foam to achieve low cost, rugged, mouldings. The case was also carefully designed to meet the relevant medical regulations. Visually the design needed to come across as a credible piece of medical equipment and at the same time move forward the aesthetic of Eschmann�s products. This was achieved by using more sculptural shapes and bold colours to define control areas. Client: Eschmann Equipment |
