The Celtel Powermax is a domestic control repeater that allows players to be controlled remotely. The design is manufactured in the Far East and is mainly targeted at the US market.

The previous version had an aggressive Pyramid form and the company wanted a softer visual feel for the product so that it was more in place in home environments. The design was also given a strong, iconic, presence by having its main form grow out of strong foot details.

JED completed the industrial design of the unit and then provided Celtel with sufficient information so that the design could be mechanically detailed in China.
